The primary aim of the SUNRISE international study is to determine the proportion of pre-school-aged children sampled in participating countries who meet the World Health Organization's Guidelines on Physical Activity, Sedentary Behavior and Sleep for children under 5 years of age. In addition, the study aims to determine if these proportions differ by gender or urban/rural location within and between countries at different levels of human and economic development.
