Description:
This project examined the effects of the Government of Malawi's Social Cash Transfer Program on disease risk on mature adults. It extended a longituditional RCT and integrated new measures of immune fucntion, disease, stress, and cognitive capacity to identify the physiological pathway through which poverty-induced chronic stress affects disease risk.
