Center for Social Research's Deputy Director, Mr. Joseph Chunga, is one ot the co-authors of a new book to be launched on 20th September, 2022. The book titled Beyond Impunity: New Directions for Governance in Malawi has other authors namely Dr Fidelis Kanyongolo and Dr Anthony Malunga.
"Beyond Impunity: New Directions for Governance in Malawi", edited by Professor Kenneth R. Ross, Associate Professor Asiyati Lorraine Chiweza and Professor Wapulumuka O. Mulwafu, is the latest and arguably the most comprehensive book on governance in Malawi.
In Chapter 2, titled "Two Decades of Governance in Malawi: Examining Citizen Trust in Malawi from 1999-2019", Joseph J. Chunga and Professor Happy Kayuni examine trends, drivers and consequences of citizens trust in key state institutions.
The launch will start from 13:30 to 16:00.
