On December 17 2021, the University of Malawi through the Centre for Social Research in partnership with UNICEF will hold a research dissemination workshop in the Great Hall where findings from research that the centre has conducted with support from UNICEF over the last two years will be disseminated and reflected upon. The workshop will be held as part of commemoration of the ‘Worlds Children’s Day’.

Four presentations will be made during this workshop: A situation analysis of children with disabilities in Malawi; Findings from a KAP study on COVID-9 vaccinations; Child benefits of social cash transfer programmes in Malawi; and, findings from a study on Traditional.  Over 100 participants drawn from various government agencies that deal with the above issues, CSOs, UN agencies and other international organisations, students and staff of the University of Malawi are expected to participate.
